ABOUT MISH

Some things you should know about MISH

Truth is stranger than fiction!

Mish is a storyteller.

A writer, adventurer, sports-human, occasional stage manager, music dabbler & film lover. She has written and directed plays and short films, including the NZ Women’s Festival & Fringe Festivals.

She is currently working with Faber Writing Academy on her first fiction novel – it’s a coming of age, LGBTQ+, dramedy, murder mystery.

She has a range of full length plays on file from workshopping sessions with Tom Holloway, and more on the way.

She loves to use multimedia, site specific pieces, movement, live music, and unusual spaces.

Based in Melbourne, Australia, Mish was born in Kalamunda, Western Australia, and grew up in New Zealand.

“Odd socks and odd earrings are a perfectly reasonable way to start the day. Anyone who says otherwise has too much time on their hands.” - Mish Fraser

“Don’t tell me the moon is shining; show me the glint of light on broken glass.”

~ Anton Chekov
